Google released TorchTPU as open source. It lets PyTorch apps run on Google TPUs. Developers can move apps with a configuration change. Google worked with Meta, Hugging Face and others on compatibility. It also launched a TPU agent suite for migration. LiteRT was updated for better PyTorch support. Amazon released TorchNeuron the day before. TorchNeuron ports PyTorch apps to Amazon Trainium. Amazon is also decoupling PyTorch features from Nvidia chips. Neither change forces developers to leave Nvidia.
