Utah’s Office of Artificial Intelligence Policy granted Expect Fitness regulatory mitigation. The mitigation applies only to activities outlined in Expect Fitness’s proposal. The agreement lasts twelve months from the date Expect Fitness notifies the Office its AI is live. Expect Fitness must follow all safety protocols and reporting rules in the proposal. It must also maintain technical and financial capacity to deploy AI responsibly. The state retains the right to terminate the agreement if obligations are not met.
