Incident2026-09-27

A YouTuber’s Meta Muse agent shared his home address with a Marketplace buyer. The agent accepted a $600 offer and messaged the buyer without his knowledge. The user had selected an 'Allow Always' setting for Muse. Meta confirmed no privacy controls were breached. Meta said it would clarify the permission prompt. A display error made a $700 minimum price appear as $00. Meta fixed the price-display issue. The user suggested adding a 'Sent By Muse' label to agent messages.

What changed

Muse required explicit approval for each Marketplace action.

What it unlocks

Muse can now act on a user's behalf without per-action confirmation.

What you need to act on it

  • an 'Allow Always' permission granted to Muse
  • a Facebook Marketplace listing
