Anthropic launched Claude Duet, an AI agent for professionals and small business owners. It runs on Claude Opus 5.5. It sends daily briefs and alerts from connected apps. It can schedule meetings, build dashboards, create forecasts, prototype and build web apps. It uses a virtual machine with a browser to complete work. It asks for approval before sensitive actions like payments or deletions. It has a new classifier and safety system to block sharing of strict data like card numbers. It is currently an early version and may misread threads or misjudge urgency. It is weaker at personal errands like booking tickets. It is available as a standalone app on iOS and Android and via Claude on the web.
