Nippon Express and Japan Airlines launched a weekly air freight circuit. It links Los Angeles with Narita, Taiwan and Singapore. The route uses a Boeing 747F with a 100-ton payload. The first flight left Los Angeles on 3 October 2026. It targets AI and semiconductor cargo. The service also covers intra-Asia demand. Cargo can be loaded and unloaded at each stop. Both firms plan to expand the network further.

What changed

No dedicated Transpacific air freight circuit for AI and semiconductor cargo existed between these hubs.

What it unlocks
