Google launched Expert Intelligence in Gemini Notebook. It lets users add purchased Google Play Books ebooks to a notebook. Users can ask questions grounded in the book’s text. They can also generate infographics, audio overviews, or quizzes from it. A free book is offered to US users aged 18 or older while supplies last. Recipients must also own the ebook to interact with it in a shared notebook. Admins must enable Gemini Notebook, Google Play, and Google Books for users. Admins can buy books for groups without granting Google Play access. The feature is available now to all Google Workspace customers and personal account users. Eligible books show a Tools badge on their Google Play Books page.
