Google added natural-language analysis of BigQuery data inside Google Sheets. Users can ask questions against the full BigQuery dataset, not just the sheet. Follow-up questions keep the same conversation going. Gemini can build a new tab with live database formulas, pivot tables and charts. The feature is on by default with no admin control. It rolls out gradually over up to 15 days starting October 19, 2026. It works in Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Google AI Pro and Ultra, and Google AI Pro for Education. End users open the Gemini side panel in a connected spreadsheet to start.
