Deloitte published a survey of 501 US business and technology leaders whose organizations are already piloting AI agents, finding a wide gap between expectations and readiness. Most expect agents to reshape a large share of business processes within four years, but only a small minority say their processes are prepared or that they have scaled coordinated multi-agent use. Half say their organizations are not investing enough in retraining and reorganizing work.
