The American Hotel & Lodging Association and Actabl released a joint report on AI in hospitality. 90% of workers say AI helps them finish everyday duties faster. 38% rank operational efficiency as the top benefit. 28% rank revenue growth as the top benefit. 84% report improved workloads overall. Only 15% see gains in frontline guest-facing work. The report calls guest-facing AI a major untapped opportunity. It argues AI should enable staff, not replace them. Hotels already use AI for scheduling, forecasting, onboarding and booking. The report was unveiled at the 2026 Hospitality Show.
