OpenAI is merging ChatGPT’s Chat and Work tabs into one. Users can now explore an idea and have ChatGPT carry it through in the same place. Files and plugins can be brought in for tasks like building a website or creating a presentation. Codex remains a separate experience in the desktop app. ChatGPT and Codex will now draw tokens from the same allowance pool. Some users may need to wait for resets more frequently. The change is rolling out to select users first for feedback.
