Anthropic launched the Anthropic Cyber Mission to secure critical systems. It starts with two programs. The Critical Infrastructure Defense Program offers frontier models, on-site engineers and threat research to trusted providers. Its founding partners include Accenture, Booz Allen, CrowdStrike and others. The program targets power grids, water systems and transportation networks. OSS Scanner provides free periodic security scans for open-source projects. Each scan includes a proof of concept, explanation and suggested fix. Reports are model-generated and may contain inaccuracies. Anthropic expects a true-positive rate above 90%. Maintainers must opt in and have capacity to triage findings. Anthropic will expand the mission to new areas over time. Project Glasswing has merged into the Cyber Verification Program. Anthropic previously launched a $15M cyber defense program for US state and local governments.
