Google DeepMind published the AlphaEvolve repository on GitHub. It includes code for a new upper bound on the matrix multiplication exponent. The repository also contains solutions to multiple math problems. Each solution outperforms the prior state of the art. Verification notebooks are provided for all results. The code runs in Docker sandboxes for safety. AlphaEvolve executes code generated by large language models. Users must accept risks from running untrusted code. The project is licensed under Apache 2.0 for code and CC-BY for other materials. It is not an official Google product.
