Google launched Universal Cart in the U.S. across Search and the Gemini app. It saves items from multiple retailers in one place. The cart tracks price drops and stock changes using Google’s Shopping Graph. It suggests the best payment methods and finds promo codes. Users can check out via Google Pay or transfer items to a merchant’s site. It works with merchants like Nike, Sephora, Target, Ulta Beauty, Walmart and Wayfair. The cart preserves progress across Google so users can resume shopping later. It is built on the Universal Commerce Protocol.
