Anthropic announced Enterprise Frontier Safeguards, a setup that keeps customer activity data out of its own systems. Data used for misuse monitoring sits in the customer's cloud account, under their keys and access rules. Automated systems scan a rolling window of traffic for serious misuse signals. Flags go straight to the customer, and no Anthropic employee reviews them. Anthropic built it with over 100 customers and with Amazon, Google and Microsoft. It will support Claude Code, Claude Enterprise, the Claude Platform, Amazon Bedrock, Google's Agent Platform and Microsoft Foundry. Rollout starts in phases later this autumn, with broad availability targeted for the same season. Eligible customers keep zero data retention on Fable 5 and 5.1 until then. Storage, customer-managed keys and automated review are each opt-in. Anthropic charges nothing, but cloud providers bill for storage, reads, writes and egress.
