Google and the USO are bringing Google Beam to 20 USO locations worldwide. The 3D video technology lets deployed service members connect with families. It captures body language and eye contact to feel like in-person reunions. A new docuseries shows four military families using it. The pilot ran between Trzebień, Poland, and Fort Bliss, Texas. It is now expanding to Grafenwöhr, Germany, and Fort Hood, Texas. The series follows soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment. Families shared milestones like promotions and first steps through Beam.
