Wistron opened its first U.S. manufacturing plant, a $700 million, 324,000-square-foot facility in Fort Worth, Texas, announced on July 22, 2026 following a June 21 grand opening ceremony. The site assembles and tests Nvidia AI systems, currently producing the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip with the Vera Rubin Superchip planned next. Nvidia said the plant has created 500 jobs, with plans to reach 1,000 by the end of 2026. Wistron said the facility runs on Nvidia accelerated computing and uses Nemotron and Cosmos open models plus Omniverse and Metropolis libraries, with digital twins for factory design and workflow optimization. Wistron previously said it was applying Nvidia's Omniverse DSX blueprint across sites in Taiwan and the U.S. and had deployed Cosmos models for AI quality inspection.
