Release2026-09-24

Google introduced a new feature called Call for Me. It lets Gemini call businesses for users. The feature first rolls out to Pixel 11 owners in the U.S. with a paid Gemini subscription. It requires the beta version of Google’s Phone app. Users can follow the call live and take over at any time. Calls use the user’s own phone number. Gemini can handle complex tasks like checking stock or making reservations. It can navigate phone menus and wait on hold. Users see a live transcript of the conversation. Google is starting the experiment at a small scale.
