Release2026-10-06

Google Vids added point-in-time editing. The canvas now matches the video timeline one-to-one. Users see only active elements at the current timestamp. They can click object tracks in the timeline to move the playhead. Scene splitting for timed objects is no longer needed. The feature is on by default for all sessions. Admins have no control to disable it. Rollout began for Rapid Release domains on September 29, 2026. Full rollout for Scheduled Release domains starts October 13, 2026. It covers all listed Workspace and Education editions.
