Release2026-11-04

OpenAI launched a personal finance feature in ChatGPT for Pro users in the U.S. It lets users connect financial accounts to track spending and investments. The feature now supports Free and Go users in the U.S. as of October 2, 2026. It includes weekly updates, credit monitoring, stock watchlists, and voice support. Android access was added later. Users can also manually enter account details. Data is synced via Plaid, with Intuit support coming soon. ChatGPT provides a dashboard for portfolio performance, spending, and subscriptions. Users can save financial context like goals or loans as Financial memories. The feature does not replace professional financial advice. It supports over 12,000 financial institutions. Users can disconnect accounts or delete financial memories at any time. Multi-factor authentication is recommended for added security.
