Target announced a group of shopping features that use AI to aid product discovery. Photo Search launched in the mobile app in August. It lets shoppers find items using a picture they upload or take. Review Insights arrived in June and summarises what product reviews mention. Target says that feature has lifted conversions and cart additions. A Buy Again feature surfaces frequently bought items, past purchases and related deals. Target credits it with strong year-on-year purchase growth. A Continue Shopping feature, launched last autumn, resurfaces recently viewed products. Earlier work includes the Bullseye Gift Finder and Target Trend Brain for sellers. The announcement follows a second quarter in which sales and earnings grew.
