OpenAI said it will end the contract that supplies its models to the coding tool Cursor, following Cursor's acquisition by SpaceX, with a proposed cut-off of 12 November 2026. OpenAI cited doubts that SpaceX will honour its usage terms, pointing to earlier breaches by Elon Musk's companies. Its forthcoming model will not be offered to Cursor at all.
