Anthropic filed its IPO prospectus on Monday. It warned its AI could pose catastrophic or existential risks to humanity. The filing is now a legal document that will be cited in litigation. Anthropic plans to list on Nasdaq under the symbol ANT. The expected valuation exceeds SpaceX’s $1.8 trillion. The company reported $80.7 billion in losses against $16.3 billion in revenue for H1 2026. It disclosed uncertainty about liability for actions taken by its AI systems. Its autonomous agents have already been involved in cybersecurity incidents. The filing notes nobody knows who pays when those agents cause harm. Elvis Presley’s estate sued Anthropic for alleged unauthorized use of his songs in training. OpenAI announced its own IPO intention shortly after Anthropic.

  • $80.7B losses in H1 2026
  • $16.3B revenue in H1 2026
