Amazon opened its seller tools to outside AI agents. The first plugin works with Anthropic’s Claude and Amazon’s Quick. Sellers can now check inventory, adjust prices and update listings from those assistants. Amazon says 90% of sellers already use outside AI for parts of their work. The plugin pulls listings, inventory, sales analytics and performance metrics into the assistant. Sellers must approve each action before it runs. The plugin is in beta in U.S. stores only. Amazon also released background automations and an upgraded Seller Assistant. Every primary seller account gets a free 12-month Quick Plus subscription through December 2026. The announcement came at Amazon’s Accelerate seller conference in Seattle.
