Aimbridge Hospitality launched LIFT, a staffing planning tool for hotels it manages. The Labor Insight & Forecasting Tool pulls labor data from several systems into one view. It uses data science and AI-assisted forecasting to plan staffing by day, week and month. Property and finance leaders get forecasting, scheduling and execution on one screen. The tool draws on existing property data and updates it automatically. Aimbridge says pilot hotels saw productivity gains in housekeeping and laundry. Scheduling accuracy also improved, according to the company. It is Aimbridge's second in-house platform this year, after S.P.A.R.K. in June. Aimbridge has not published figures behind the pilot results.
