Lowe’s launched a drone delivery pilot at a North Carolina store. It partners with Wing and DoorDash for the service. Customers near Matthews can order via DoorDash and select drone delivery. Drones carry up to 2.5 pounds per flight. Deliveries arrive in as fast as 20 minutes. Over 100 SKUs are available in the pilot. Items include screwdrivers, painter’s tape and caulk.
