Google DeepMind announced Genie 4, a new world model for real-time interactive simulation. It uses capabilities from the Gemini family for realism and coherence. Users can steer scenes in real time with natural language. Every simulation generates native audio on the fly. It enables safe training for robots and agents. It also supports creative tools in filmmaking, journalism, gaming, and manufacturing. Genie 4 is rolling out to a limited group of trusted testers. It will come soon to Google AI Ultra subscribers in Project Genie. Early access partners in the Gemini API and AI Studio will also get it.
