Claude Code now offers a redesigned projects experience in beta. Users set a goal and Claude scopes, delegates, and coordinates parallel work threads. It reviews outputs and assembles finished results while allowing user steering. Threads run as full cloud sessions and can split work further using subagents. Projects build shared memory over time to reduce prompt engineering needs. A library collects files and artifacts for easier reuse. Usage limits may be reached faster due to parallel threads. Existing projects on Pro and Max plans continue working unchanged. Rollout starts with Pro and Max subscribers using cloud sessions. Access will expand to more Claude Code users, then to Team and Enterprise plans.

Projects required manual division of work, handoffs, and result stitching.
