Release2026-10-10

Anthropic introduced dynamic workflows for Claude Managed Agents. Flows let Claude orchestrate its own multi-agent topology. A lead agent creates a plan and writes an orchestration program. Developers can still add specialist sub-agents if they wish. Flows cost more but are more effective for complex tasks. Developers can set session budgets to control token spend. Agents share a filesystem to exchange information. Developers can inspect sub-agent actions via graphing in Claude Console. Flows are available in Claude Console. Anthropic aims to make large scientific research projects doable by general users.
