Google added insight summaries for teacher-led Gemini Notebook in Classroom. Teachers see overall engagement, common themes and individual chat transcripts. Students get a notification that conversations are visible to teachers. Admins can now enable external sharing for notebooks in the Admin console. Sharing can be set at domain, OU and group level. Trusted domains can be designated for cross-domain notebook sharing. Insight summaries are rolling out to Education users now. LTI users will get the feature in the coming weeks. External sharing controls are available now. The feature is limited to Education Fundamentals, Standard and Plus plans.

Teachers can now see AI-generated summaries of student engagement with assigned notebooks. Admins can enable external sharing for notebooks, including trusted domains.
