Release2026-09-24

Ant International unveiled a full-stack AI strategy at its Voyage event in Shanghai. It targets automating existing merchant payment and finance workflows today. The company also builds identity, billing, and authorization infrastructure for future agentic commerce. It announced close to 100 product updates in one release cycle. Antom applied its AI agent Autopilot across the entire merchant payment lifecycle. Over the past year, 89.5% of merchant clients adopted Autopilot. Autopilot executed 81.4% of merchant payment and operational tasks. Merchant onboarding lead time dropped from days to minutes in a Southeast Asia case. The number of merchants using AI integration quadrupled in the last 12 months. By end of 2026, 95% of new merchants are expected to onboard within one hour. Payment data feeds AI models to power higher-margin financial services. FalconTST uses transaction data to improve FX and liquidity forecasting. Payment processing becomes a customer acquisition cost for higher-margin services.
