ByteDance’s Jimeng AI launched a short-drama studio. It unifies script development, character and scene creation, storyboarding, video production and post-production. The studio uses three in-house models: DreamScript for scripts, Anycook for images and DreamShot for storyboards. DreamScript supports original stories, adaptations and scripts for overseas audiences. The image and storyboard tools help creators develop visual assets and plan shots. The studio supports replacing individual shots, reconstructing audio and remaking existing dramas in different visual styles. The launch extends Jimeng’s tools beyond individual tasks into coordinated short-drama production.
