Release2026-10-13

Workday launched autopilot agents for finance and HR workflows. They anticipate needs and take actions without prompts. A payroll agent flags missing data before runs. An accounting agent extracts contract details and prepares entries. A talent acquisition agent monitors hiring targets and drafts outreach. Customers set which actions run automatically or need review. Workday also introduced a Trusted Agent Platform for custom agents. It added a Decision Intelligence offering for workforce scenario planning. All agent activity is logged for cost and audit management. Early adopter access starts now for some agents.
