Gap launched AI shopping tools for all its brands. Alta Daily offers outfit suggestions using schedule, budget and weather. Daydream provides fashion ideas using natural language across Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Athleta. Old Navy and Banana Republic added conversational shopping agents to their sites and apps. The rollout started Monday. Gap’s CTO says AI should make shopping easier and keep customers in control. Gap will host a Tech Week event on Wednesday at its headquarters. The event features Alta and Daydream CEOs alongside Gap executives.
