Release2026-10-27

Apple is adding an AI assistant to Pages, Keynote and Numbers. It can draft and restructure text in Pages. It can design, animate and refine slides in Keynote. It can calculate, visualize and organize data in Numbers. The assistant uses Apple and OpenAI models. It understands document context to perform tasks. Keynote, Pages and Numbers now support the Model Context Protocol on macOS 27 or later. Third-party AI agents can plug into the apps. The rollout is in beta for compatible devices. The update is free for existing subscribers.
