Anthropic is routing some Opus 5.5 users to a new unannounced model. Users on X reported outputs far beyond Opus 5.5’s usual level. A test prompt about VoxelBench can reveal if the new model is active. Some outputs used Blender MCP to create 3D scenes from scratch in hours. Another demo produced a JavaScript animation in two hours with 27 million tokens. Users speculate the model may be Opus 5.6 or Fable 5.5. Anthropic has not confirmed the model name or timing. John Hoffmann at Anthropic hinted more is coming soon. The new model may match Opus 5.5’s current pricing if released. Early results are described as state of the art.
