Release2026-08-12

Google presented the Pixel 11 phone range, the Pixel Watch 5 and a $29 tracking tag at its Made by Google event. On the software side, its Live Transcribe tool now turns American Sign Language filmed by the phone camera into text, and a new voice-input feature called Rambler is built to handle rambling, filler-heavy speech. The features are tied to Pixel hardware.

What changed

Live Transcribe did not read sign language, and voice input expected clearly phrased sentences.
