Google is rolling out Personal Intelligence for Gemini on Android Auto. It taps into Google Workspace, Photos, Maps, Search, and YouTube to personalize responses. Users can ask complex or natural queries without specifying details. It retrieves saved places or past conversations without manual lookup. Preferences like dietary habits are remembered across queries. It is opt-in for Android Auto but inherits phone settings. On Android Automotive it only personalizes when the phone is connected. The rollout starts today for Android Auto. Android Automotive support arrives in the coming months.
