Tractor Supply opened its 11th distribution center in Nampa, Idaho. The 865,000-square-foot site will distribute inventory to 123 stores in nine states. It can scale to serve over 200 stores at full capacity. The facility features 80 truck docks and an automated storage and retrieval system. It includes a dedicated AI team to apply practical AI to operational needs. The site represents a $200 million investment. It is expected to create 500 full-time jobs. The center began receiving inventory in August and will start outbound shipping this month. It is Tractor Supply’s first location with automated logistics from Knapp.
