Release2026-10-22

1Password launched 1Password for Agents as a trust layer for personal AI agents. The platform lets agents sign in and complete tasks without seeing or storing passwords. Users approve each sign-in request on their own device. 1Password fills the credential directly into the form instead of sharing it with the agent. The password remains protected in 1Password after use. 1Password is partnering with agent providers including Meta’s Muse, Anthropic’s Claude, OpenAI, SpaceXSI Grok Bot, and Town Townie. Additional partners include Browserbase, Dana, Instinct, KERNEL, Perplexity, Ramp, Tomo, and Wajo. The platform supports agents for personal and work tasks. It aims to enable secure delegation of tasks to AI agents across the ecosystem.
