Moonshot AI is aiming for $2 billion in annualized revenue by the end of 2026. The Chinese developer recently told investors its annual recurring revenue passed $1 billion in August. That figure was about $300 million in June. The growth follows July's release of Kimi K3, its largest model. Kimi K3 reached the top of performance benchmarks at far lower cost than leading US models. Moonshot is using that success to press rivals including Anthropic and Z.AI. The revenue figures come from people familiar with the matter, not from the company on the record.
