Gemini now lets users generate, preview, and edit files in the chat. A full-screen editor allows direct typing and text highlighting for edits. Users can ask Gemini to refine files or answer questions about them. PDF editing works on web and mobile. Other formats like Docs, Sheets, slides, Markdown, TXT, and code are web-only. The feature is live for all users in all supported languages.
