OpenAI has signed a 10-gigawatt data-center lease in Ohio with SB Energy, the energy arm of SoftBank, ending weeks of negotiation over what would be the largest such project announced so far. Nvidia is backing the deal with a commitment intended to help the developer raise debt financing while limiting the chip maker's own exposure. The site broke ground in March.
