Release2026-09-09

Suno released v6, a new generation of its music generation models. The company developed it with Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe. Three versions ship: v6, v6-wild and v6-mini. v6 and v6-wild are limited to Pro and Premier subscribers. v6-mini is available to everyone and runs faster. Creators can edit one section of a song using plain language. They can also build mashups from several sources, sample and isolate parts, and change a single lyric. Songs can start from text, audio, images or video. Suno says it screens uploaded audio and lyrics for unauthorized use. Earlier models will be retired as v6 rolls out. Suno also says it is developing opt-in, paid experiences built around individual artists.
