Cohere released Parse, a model that converts documents, tables and images into structured, machine-readable text, and made it generally available through its own API, Model Vault, Microsoft Foundry and AWS SageMaker. It handles nine major languages and can run inside a company's own cloud or data centre for regulated work. On Cohere's own benchmark it scores below the largest general-purpose models but above other specialised parsing services, at a lower price.
