A Connecticut private school, Cheshire Academy, has adopted a traffic-light labelling system for assignments, where green permits any AI use, red bans it, and yellow allows only specified tools such as spell-check. Teachers there use general chatbots and the education-specific platform MagicSchool mainly to plan lessons and build grading rubrics, and none yet use AI to give student feedback because of accuracy and privacy concerns. Staff were trained on general techniques rather than required to use particular software.
