DigUp lets users search their computer files by content, not just names. It works on Mac, Windows and Linux. It uses Google DeepMind’s EmbeddingGemma 2 model. The model handles text, images, audio and video in one shared space. It supports over 100 languages. It runs entirely on-device. Nothing indexed leaves the computer. Users pick folders to search during setup. A first pass indexes all chosen files. Searches open results at the exact page, moment or line. Code search is optional and off by default. It skips sensitive files like keys and hidden folders. The app updates automatically.
