Release2026-10-05

Nolla Health launched the first U.S. AI authorized to issue initial acne prescriptions. The pilot runs in Utah at $4.99 per month. A physician oversees every stage of the program. The first stage covers 100 patients with dual physician review. Stage two expands to 500 patients with post-issue physician review. Stage three requires 95% physician agreement and zero serious adverse events. Prescriptions arrive by home delivery or pharmacy pickup. Patients can message a licensed physician through the app at no extra cost. The app uses structured inputs and pre-approved treatment plans. Severe acne and other excluded conditions are referred to in-person care.
