Release2026-09-14

Forrester made its research assistant, Forrester AI, available inside Claude. The tool already reached clients through Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Copilot. Forrester first launched the assistant in 2023 under the name Izola. It answers questions using Forrester's own research, data and methods. Forrester argues that owning AI is no longer a source of advantage on its own. It says value comes from pairing machine output with human judgement and context. The firm calls this approach AI + HI. Analysts, it says, add organisational context and will challenge clients heading the wrong way. Sharyn Leaver set out the position around Forrester's Technology & Innovation Forum Central in Austin.
