Release2026-09-22

Boston Dynamics opened its robotics center at Hyundai’s Georgia EV plant. The center trains Atlas humanoids for repetitive and heavy factory tasks. Component assembly with Atlas is planned for 2030. Hyundai aims to deploy 25,000 Atlas units globally. A new U.S. facility will produce 30,000 robots annually. Boston Dynamics will expand the test center to ten times its size. Other sectors like aerospace and logistics will test Atlas next year. Toyota also plans to deploy 400,000 robots by 2028.
