Release2026-10-15

Google is rolling out Gmail Live to paid Workspace users. It uses the latest Gemini models for low-latency voice search. It surfaces email source cards at every conversational turn. Users can now pick their preferred voice. The feature is ON by default for admins with Gemini access. End users tap the Live entry point in the Gmail search bar to start. First-time users must grant microphone access. It covers Business, Enterprise, Frontline, Nonprofits and Education add-ons. It is currently limited to US users with EN-US language.
